The XXXIX Symposium of the Scientific Instrument Commission will take place from 14-19 September 2020 in London, UK.
The conference will be jointly organised by the Science Museum and Royal Museums Greenwich, with the main base at the Science Museum’s Dana Research Centre and Library in South Kensington and a day in Greenwich.
The main symposium theme will be Spaces for Instruments, exploring how instruments have been made, used and understood in a variety of spaces. The Call For Papers will be published in January. As always, we will also welcome proposals for sessions, papers or posters on any topic dealing with the material culture of science.
Practical information regarding travel and accommodation will also be published in January.
We look forward to seeing you in London!
